Morgan Rivers
I
grew up on a farm outside of Greene, Iowa and was very involved in
sports and music in school. After college I spent 15 years or so in
agricultural and horticultural pursuits, working outside with crops and
nature. Finding much help from the healing arts for some chronic
pain issues, I attended massage school at Heartwood Institute in
California in 1990. Since then, I have been in private
practice, on staff at the
College of Massage and the
Healing Arts Center
(8 years), and have attended over 2000 hours of continuing education,
studying all kinds of bodywork. I received certification in Zero
Balancing in 1997 and a certificate in Self-Mastery and Unconditional
Love and Forgiveness from Mary Hayes-Grieco in 2003. In 2011 I
completed a 3 1/2 year program in Worsley-Five Element Acupuncture and
received a Masters in Acupuncture.
